Quantum Hugs - The John and Joy Collins Foundation

"Making the world better...one life at a time"

Quantum Hugs John Collins Foundation

Welcome! Thank you for visiting our site.

Quantum Hugs, a non-profit organization was formed in memory of my husband, John Collins. John and I always believed we were soul mates, meant to be together forever. Unfortunately, all that changed in May, 2010, when John passed away suddenly. Born out of my devastating loss was a deep desire to do something to keep his memory alive.

In our organization, a quantum hug is the ability to do what may seem like a little, yet has amazing far-reaching effects, such as:

  • Sponsoring an assistance dog for someone who is wheelchair bound, and thereby making their life and those around them, so much more joyful and livable.
  • Starting a scholarship fund for nurses and not only help someone get the education he or she always wanted but also enable them to touch the lives of others in infinite ways.
  • Contributing to a Phoenix doctor's healthmobile as he delivers needed healthcare to homeless and at-risk children via his Mobile Medical Unit.

While Quantum Hugs may never know the results of all its efforts it is important to begin making a positive difference now - one life at a time.

Come take the first steps with us. Navigate our website and get to know the people who make up our organization. Then join us in carrying out Quantum Hug's mission.
